An HDB spare room, condo corner and dedicated gym room can call for very different equipment. Start with a manageable setup, measure the operating space, and compare the complete cost before ordering.

Measure the room before choosing equipment
Record the usable length, width and ceiling height. Account for doors, windows, furniture and the route into the room. Next, check both the storage dimensions and the space needed while exercising. A folding bench or treadmill can save storage space, but its operating footprint still matters.
For a dumbbell setup, leave enough room to adjust the weights in their cradles, pick them up, use the bench and put them down under control. For a rack or trainer, check overhead clearance, attachment travel and space around the frame.
Delivery access matters for larger equipment. The V20 product page states that the lift must fit a 2.1m pole and lists an additional S$80 per floor for moving the 600kg equipment upstairs. Confirm the access route with Carbyne Fitness before ordering.

Adjustable dumbbells for a flexible starting point
Adjustable dumbbells put several weight settings into one set. Compare maximum weight, starting weight and increment size. A workout bench adds supported exercise positions to a dumbbell setup. Compare adjustment options, operating dimensions, rated capacity and storage requirements. Buy the bench that suits your exercises and room, rather than judging it only by its price or equipment weight.
An all-in-one trainer for a dedicated space
The CARBYNE V20 All-in-One Smith Functional Trainer combines a Smith machine, dual adjustable cable trainers and power rack. Its two 100kg stacks use a 2:1 pulley ratio, giving a maximum cable load of 50kg per arm. It is a different space and budget commitment from a compact dumbbell corner.
Add cardio only when it fits your routine and room
If cardio is part of your plan, compare the CARBYNE Rowing Machine and CARBYNE Air Runner Fold Curved Manual Treadmill. Check their full operating dimensions, storage method and demonstration videos. A manual machine does not need a motor, but that does not make its movement silent.
Flooring, noise and apartment considerations
Suitable gym flooring helps protect the surface and can reduce some impact and vibration. It does not eliminate noise transmission between floors. Keep weights controlled and avoid dropping adjustable dumbbells; consider neighbours and your building's requirements when choosing equipment and training times.
